Not worth of the money spent (1200 EUR / week) .. Mobile home really feels like being in a caravan although clean and air conditioned and not worn out. We had the worst option of all Mobile homes- right at parking place.. All public pictures show nice Green grass next to the 'bungalow' but this worst one, only parking place at your terrace.
We visited there for 6 night|Family Room is well equipped with kitchen , 2 bank beds , large Queen bed , nice shower . Every thing was clean and organized when we came. We enjoyed the great location with shore access and nice pool. We …
OK place but overpriced as most of the places in the area are.
Positives: In general, the place was decent and we had a pleasant stay for 2 days. It was clean, decently spacious, self contained etc. However there were a few things that could be better. Based on the price paid and taking into account that we visited the place outside high season (nearly off season) I think the place is overpriced.
Negatives: One of the things I did not like but did not complain about was that the photos on Booking were showing a room with a balcony. Our room was located on the ground floor of a villetta instead. I would prefer to have the room I expected but OK, we were only there for a couple of nights so I decided not to report this to the reception.
The kitchenette does not have an oven of any kind, and that is not convenient if you want to warm up food.
Finally, the swimming pool was dirty as you can see in the photos.
Decent but nothing special. 3,5 stars.
Response to your response:
1. I remind you that you could have communicated your assumption through Booking but you did not.
2. There was no such sign, I guarantee you that.
Vacation on Lake Garda. We landed at Bergamo Airport, and after an hour’s drive we arrived at the wonderful campsite. A great and serious staff was waiting for us, and showed us the apartment we rented. The apartment was a bit small for …
Excellent location for driving to see lots of places and a very good price (relative to other options within about a 30 min drive). Very close to the lake (could see bits of it through the trees from our balcony). Very quiet (when next door is not sitting on her balcony and shouting down the phone to whoever it was).
Bed was pretty good for sleeping on, but felt a bit soft. Good size fridge and freezer. TV worked fine and had loads of channels (a few in English, but nothing much of interest).
The only cooking facilities were 4 gas rings - no oven, grill, microwave, toaster etc (though there was a kettle), which is an oversight and should be better.
Bit of a problem with ants everywhere, but it got better once we kept every single bit of food in the fridge, even if it didn't need cooling.
We had two problems:
1) initially the balcony door would not lock, so anyone could get in by pulling it open even when "locked" - this was mostly fixed the same day we reported it (though the door still moved more than I'd be comfortable with, even if I could not open it when locked).
2) missing pillow cases for the two spare pillows - delivered the same day.
Unfortunate incident of having an ambulance crew wake us at 4am on the last day, but that was because they went to the wrong apartment. Highlights the problem of not having staff on the premises at night.
Helpful people on reception, who spoke good English too (I think it was staffed 08:00-21:00)
The village is very pleasant, located 100m from the lake beach, has 2 pools, plenty parking, a restaurant inside and one across the street (both are good, each one has its own strengths).
There was always parking available in the village's parking, but there are only few spots with a shade. The front desk workers are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and fairly equipped (all normal kitchen equipment was there). There are shower towels, hand towels, shampoo and shower gel, hand soap. There is a fair amount of storage space, but some of it is used for warm blankets, extra pillows, etc. There is also a (old school) safe and 2 small TVs (smart).
Our nearby pool wasn't too crowded, there was a free bed most hours of the day.Parasols were enough for only 3/4 of the beds, the rest had partial shade from the green fence (in the afternoon it was almost full shade).
The village is located few minutes drive from Sirmione and there are few big supermarkets near the entrance to Sirmione (Coop, Migross, Penny).
Great place for family vacation. Its not luxurious but definitely has all the basics needed for a family. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the pool was perfect for kids and the reception service was great. A huge bonus was an amazing massage by Elisa who works with the Village.it was so relaxing . Highly recommended.
Negatives first, because there are only 2 - the room was too small for our family of 4, and the beach was not so nice. The lake is full of mud and soft sand for several meters past the beach.
Positives - always very friendly and helpful staff; hotel grounds nice; breakfast was not always stocked well but was sufficient for us, with eggs, croissants, mozzarella, meats, yogurts, fruit salad, coffee and juices, and they have great pizza; despite the size of the rooms, they were clean, cool, and the beds were cozy - our kids had a bunk bed, stovetop coffeemaker, most kitchen stuff was there; staff changed our towels once during the week, which was fine; nice restaurant walking distance as well as place to rent paddle slides and paddle boats; two pools and plenty of sunbeds; ping pong table (bring your own paddles!); and a friendly cat named Villy.
